What is the salary of a cleaning help with service vouchers?

If you are new to the field, you start with a gross hourly wage of €14.67/hour. The hourly wage is set according to years of service but increases quickly with some experience.

If you already have experience as a household helper with service vouchers, we will transfer up to 3 years of seniority:

  • After 1 year: €15.20 gross hourly wage
  • After 2 years: €15.37 gross hourly wage
  • After 3 years: €15.53 gross hourly wage

Non-statutory advantages

In addition to your salary, Helan Household Help offers a number of additional benefits:

After 6 months of seniority, you will receive meal vouchers worth €4 per 7.6 hours worked. The employee contribution per voucher is €1.59.

If you already have 6 months of proven experience in the field when you are hired, you will receive meal vouchers from your first working day.

You can also count on several premiums at Helan Household Help:

  • Year-end premium: paid in December by the Social Security Fund and calculated based on the period you worked in that same year (at least 65 days worked between July 1st of the previous year and June 30th of the current year).
  • Union premium: for joining a trade union, in accordance with sectoral regulations (certificate through the Social Security Fund).

  • Travel reimbursement: 
    - By bike to work: you receive a generous mileage reimbursement. We offer you the option to lease a bike through a favorable system.
    - By motorbike or car: you receive a correct reimbursement in accordance with the sectoral provisions of PC 322.01.
    - By public transport: in the first 3 months, you will receive a transport reimbursement. After that, you will receive a free subscription from De Lijn, which you can use whenever and wherever you want.
  • Laundry reimbursement: €0.38 per worked day
  • Phone reimbursement: €0.15 per worked day

  • Helan Healthcare Shop: get a 10% employee discount on your purchases and an additional 10% if you are a Helan health insurance customer

Become an ambassador and receive a referral fee

  • Refer a new household helper and receive €400 gross per signed employment contract
  • Refer a cleaning customer and receive €50 gross per signed customer contract. (You will receive the referral fee after 2x 4 hours of paid cleaning services.)
  • Refer a Helan Health Insurance customer and receive a fee of €130 gross per customer contract (You will receive the referral fee after the actual registration.)
