Genetic carrier screening
Find out whether your baby is at risk of hereditary conditions through genetic carrier screening. Helan offers a generous reimbursement for this.
Up to €300 reimbursed via Helan
If both parents are affiliated with Helan, you will receive a €300 reimbursement for carrier screening at a recognised centre. If only one parent is affiliated, the reimbursement amounts to €150. This may be the ideal time to consider switching to Helan. You can switch here and also receive a gift voucher.

- Digitally: via the Helan app or via My Helan.
- By post to Helan Independent Health Insurance, Boomsesteenweg 5 in 2610 Wilrijk, including a white sticker label. Or drop it in a Helan mailbox near you.
We will transfer the amount to your bank account.
- Your health insurance contribution is up to date.
- The screening takes place before pregnancy, based on a prescription from a doctor, in a recognized medical genetics centre.
- This benefit applies from 2025 onwards.
