Pay your family and informal caregivers with your PVB/PAB
What is Helpper?
Do you often receive valuable help from someone in your environment (neighbour, family member, …)? Through Helpper, you can pay your informal caregiver(s) a small allowance using your personal budget (PVB) or personal assistance budget (PAB). As the budget holder, you choose the hourly rate. Helpper takes care of the administration and payment. This way, your informal caregivers earn some extra income.
Don’t have an informal caregiver yet? Then you can use Helpper to find an assistant who supports you with daily tasks.
How is your caregiver compensated?
You choose an hourly rate between 0 and 18 euros for your informal caregiver. You also pay a fixed operating cost of 2 euros per hour to Helpper. Helpper then processes all recorded hours monthly via direct debit and ensures payment to your assistant(s).
How to work with Helpper
You can easily register as a budget holder via the website.

- Offline: via the form you can download from the website
Choose your own hourly rate. You can adjust this later. At this step, you can also describe which tasks you need help with if you do not yet have a caregiver.
Send an email invitation to your caregiver(s). This allows them to register as your assistant on the platform. Don’t have a caregiver yet? Then you can use Helpper to look for support.
Done grocery shopping? Carried out small household tasks? After providing help, your caregiver records the hours worked. Helpper takes care of the administration for you and processes the payments monthly.
